Preliminary designs include numerous technological considerations for 111 Main such as redundant data and electric feeds from independent substations, voice and data lines with fiber optic capabilities and a location for tenant generators will be made available. State-of-the-art and customizable security systems with turn-styles and 24-hour manned security will be part of the building's offerings. The design includes innovative seismic engineering standards and to increase energy conservation, it will be equipped with fully automated HVAC systems. When completed, it is anticipated the building will be awarded a LEED Gold Certification.
