Viterra Completes Transfer of Certain Assets to Agrium


REGINA, SASKATCHEWAN--(Marketwired - Oct. 1, 2013) - Viterra Inc. (Viterra) is pleased to announce that it has transferred to Agrium Inc. (Agrium): (i) certain crop input retail centres, fertilizer and ammonia storage and distribution assets in western Canada; (ii) Viterra Financial™ arrangements related to crop input retail centres; (iii) Viterra's interest in Interprovincial Cooperative Limited; and (iv) the western Canadian fuel business, in accordance with the provisions of the support and purchase agreement between, among others, Viterra and Agrium (the Agrium Agreement).
