About the Lawsuit

BioScrip and certain of its executives are charged with issuing a series of materially false and misleading statements about the Company's business, operations, and prospects during the Class Period, violating federal securities laws. 

On September 23, 2013, BioScrip disclosed that it received a civil investigative demand issued by the United States Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York and a subpoena from the New York State Attorney General's Medicaid Fraud Control Unit, regarding the distribution of the Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation product Exjade by the Company's legacy specialty pharmacy division. On this news, the price of BioScrip's stock fell dramatically.
