CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwired - Oct 4, 2013) - Plante Moran, one of the nation's largest certified public accounting and business advisory firms, announced the national speakers who will present at the 2013 Ignite Ideas Insurance Conference. This is the 4th annual insurance industry conference that will be held in Chicago on Thursday, Oct. 24, 2013 at the University Club.

The conference focuses on topics relevant to the property, casualty, life, and health arenas as well as industrywide hot topics.

"We know that there's no 'one size fits all' for our clients and friends in the insurance industry, so we've organized the agenda in such a way that attendees can find inspiration throughout the day, whether via the presentations or networking with fellow conference participants," said Jerry Hufton, Plante Moran partner and industry thought leader based in Chicago.

In additional to Plante Moran's experts in investments, organizational change and health care reform, the 2013 Ignite Ideas Conference agenda includes presentations from:

  • Connie Jasper Woodroof, NAIC liaison
  • Derek Freihaut, Pinnacle Actuarial
  • Margaret Milkint, The Jacobson Group
  • Kelly Superczynski, AON
  • Tana Higman and Gerry Glombicki, Fitch Rating Agency

The one-day conference is offered free of charge, and its content may be eligible for CPE credit. Participants are responsible for travel-related expenses.
