Media Conference on New Legal Regulations Planned by Ontario Government to Dismantle Community Hospitals and Bring In Private Clinics

What: The Wynne government has quietly issued notice of its intention to bring in new regulations under the Independent Health Facilities Act (IHFA) and the Local Health System Integration Act (LHSIA) to usher in new private clinics to take hospital services out of local hospitals. The Ontario Health Coalition is holding this press conference to respond to these plans.
