Darin Andersen to Speak at CyberMaryland 2013

Founder of CyberHive and CEO of CyberUnited to Speak on Building Cybercommunities

SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwired - Oct 8, 2013) - Darin Andersen, Founder and Chairman of CyberHive and CEO of CyberUnited, will be a panelist at CyberMaryland 2013, discussing how to build effective ecosystems around cybersecurity. "Building Communities of Interest and Trust in the Cyber Security Domain," will be held on Tuesday, October 8th as part of the two-day conference during Cyber Security Awareness Month, addressing the biggest challenges facing American security today.

The panel will be moderated by Robert Rodriguez, Chairman and Founder of SINET, and will include Brian Engle, Chief Information Security Officer for the State of Texas; Rick Geritz, CEO of LifeJourney; and Greg Kaple, Founder of GAK3.

"Cyberspace is a complex, dynamic and difficult domain to manage, in particular since no one owns it and it has no zip code," commented Andersen. "This is a very practical discussion on what is working and what is not when it comes to building public private partnerships within communities around the country -- both challenges and successes. We are going to share what we've learned in collaborating with Federal, State and local governments as well as private industry to provide a more robust, resilient, trusted, safe and secure critical infrastructure."

CyberMaryland 2013 will address future innovation required to meet the security challenges facing our country; collaboration across industry, government and educational institutions; and the development of a generation of cyber-warriors. The conference looks at the constantly evolving business framework surrounding all of these issues in order to provide efficient and effective solutions in a time frame that anticipates and mitigates current and future threats.
