Fueled by a growing number of service providers in Asia who are performing tests and ongoing field trials and by system manufacturers -- a vibrant demonstration of technology is on show at the Broadband Taiwan Event 2013, part of the TAITRONICS show, taking place this week in Taipei.

The HomeGrid Forum is showcasing technology to potential technology adopters in Asian markets, as HomeGrid prepares for rapid deployment throughout the region. Asian service providers are showing increasing interest as the technology reaches maturity, following the system certification milestone passed last month by Taiwanese company, Comtrend. Among the Asian operators currently trialing is Taiwan's own Chunghwa Telecom.
