Altitude Resources Appoints Gene Wusaty as President and Chief Executive Officer


CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - Oct. 8, 2013) - Altitude Resources Inc. ("Altitude" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:ALI) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Gene Wusaty, P.Eng. as President and CEO, effective November 1, 2013. Mr. Wusaty currently holds the position of Chairman of the Board of Altitude and was one of the founders of the Company.

Mr. Wusaty is a Mining Engineer with over 35 years' experience in the mining industry in a variety of technical, management and executive positions. Most recently he was Managing Director and CEO of Coalspur Mines Ltd. which is presently developing a large thermal coal project in Alberta, Canada. Mr. Wusaty's background also includes COO at SouthGobi Energy Resources, President of Ivanhoe Coal, and COO at Grande Cache Coal. He has also worked in various management positions at Elk Valley Coal, Fording Coal and Quintette Coal.

Mr. Wusaty will be granted 1,200,000 stock options exercisable at prices ranging from $0.45 to $0.65, and vesting over the next 24 months.

The Board of Altitude would like to thank Andrew Wusaty who was one of the founders of Altitude and has been President and CEO since its inception in 2010. He led the company through the listing on the TSX and obtaining two development projects - Palisades and Elan. Andrew will remain as a Director and will act in a consulting position with the Company.
