"Elemica congratulates our customers, BASF and Syngenta, for being named to the prestigious Gartner Top 25 Supply Chain Europe list," says Sergio Juarez, Senior Vice-President, Europe and Latin America, Elemica. "These rankings highlight best practices in supply chain visibility, collaboration, and automation to meet the growing needs of more outside-in supply chain organizations. Elemica is pleased that we have been instrumental in helping these businesses innovate their supply chains to respond quickly and efficiently to opportunities arising from the market or customer demand."

BASF, the German-based chemical giant, improved their Gartner Global Supply Chain Top 25 ranking, and broached the top five for European based companies, by strengthening financial performance and its overall composite score. BASF has a complex global value network where outputs of one process are used as primary materials in another, causing complex operations. To support this, BASF has transformed its global supply chain by harmonizing key processes, such as order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and transportation management and planning, all provided by Elemica's customer, procurement, and logistics management solutions. At BASF, Elemica connects trading partners to directly exchange ordering, invoicing, and logistics data via standardized processes that result in streamlined operations, reductions in transaction costs, shortened response times, and improved customer service.

Syngenta is a Swiss chemical and agriculture leader that is undergoing a comprehensive transformation from selling only seeds and crop protection to becoming a full-service provider in the agricultural industry. This involves embedding productivity and sustainability goals into its strategy of growing more from less, and deploying a new product and supply strategy with a three-year cycle. Syngenta continues to concentrate on supply chain innovation, utilizing Elemica's supply chain operating network to handle B2B transactions between trading partners. Elemica's QuickLink Network is a scalable, maintainable, complete end-to-end collaborative hub that conducts and automates business transactions with downstream distributors. Elemica's Customer Management suite of products utilizes advanced exception-based alerting and automated order management capabilities to identify and eliminate errors and proactively notify customers and partners regarding interruptions. By utilizing Elemica, Syngenta streamlines order-to-cash processes and automates the exchange of financial and inventory information, which means doing more with less, lowering the cost to serve, and improving the experience of their trading partners.
