Subsentio Takes to the Cloud With IntelePeer, Offering Communications Companies a New Channel for CALEA Compliance

Subsentio Lawful Intercept Now Available as Hosted Platform via IntelePeer's Communications Application Marketplace for Rich Content Services -- Fluent "Federation as a Service"

SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwired - Oct 16, 2013) - At BroadSoft Connections 2013, Subsentio, the first name in lawful intercept, joined the IntelePeer Fluent "Federation as a Service" (FaaS) Marketplace, a cloud-based platform providing rich communications services.

As one of the launch partners of the Fluent FaaS marketplace, Subsentio is making its Safe Harbor Probe™ lawful intercept capability for IntelePeer's on-net traffic available to communications service providers pre-integrated on IntelePeer's hosted platform. Availability of the Probe's electronic surveillance capabilities via Fluent FaaS provides service providers with an easy-to-use and economical channel to ensure compliance with the Communications Assistance for Law Enforcement Act (CALEA).

"With the rapid surge in court orders for lawful intercept -- up some 150 percent over the last decade -- many communications service providers struggle to keep pace with CALEA's strict compliance regimen," said Steve Bock, President of Subsentio. "Now CSPs can meet all compliance requirements of the law 'in the cloud,' and at the same time leverage the power of Subsentio's service bureau for legal and law enforcement expertise."

"Since launching Fluent FaaS, IntelePeer has experienced a surge in demand for our cloud-based approach to unified communications services," said Margaret Norton, IntelePeer's Chief Marketing Officer. "Because the vast majority of communications service providers are subject to CALEA, we see the addition of Subsentio's Safe Harbor Probe™ to our marketplace of rich communication services and applications as a valuable service to the industry, the public and law enforcement."
