Notification pursuant to Section 27a WpHG

Interests Acquisition, LLC, Augustus Holdco, LLC, TPG Opportunities II
Advisors, Inc., Indaba Capital Fund, L.P., Indaba Capital Management, LLC,
Indaba Capital Partners, L.P., Indaba Partners, LLC and Derek C. Schrier
(collectively referred to as 'Notifying Persons')  issue a further
notification pursuant to Section 27a of the German Securities Trading Act
('WpHG'):

The Notifying Persons continue to pursue strategic objectives with respect
to their investment.  Depending on the operating performance of Balda
Aktiengesellschaft and other circumstances, the investment may, in whole or
in part, also serve the purpose of generating investment profits.

In light of certain developments with respect to Balda Aktiengesellschaft
since the Notifying Persons' prior notification pursuant to Section 27a of
the WpHG, each of the Notifying Persons continues to consider its options
with respect to the shares and intends to take such actions with respect to
its investment in Balda Aktiengesellschaft as it deems appropriate.

Currently, the Notifying Persons are not seeking a change of the
composition of the management board or supervisory board of Balda
Aktiengesellschaft.

The Notifying Persons continue to seek the improvement of shareholder
value, which may involve, but is not limited to, increasing distributions
to the shareholders and share buybacks. Apart from this, the Notifying
Persons are not seeking a change to the capital structure of Balda
Aktiengesellschaft, in particular in connection with the relation of debt
to equity financing.

The voting rights of the Notifying Persons were financed exclusively by
means of own funds.
