Austin, Oct. 30, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Circuit of The Americas (COTA) announced today that 17-year-old Texas native and reigning champion of NBC's "The Voice," Danielle Bradbery, will participate in the opening ceremonies for the 2013 FORMULA 1 UNITED STATES GRAND PRIX by singing "The Star Spangled Banner" on Sunday, Nov. 17.   Bradbery will perform the U.S. national anthem approximately 15 minutes before the start of the penultimate race of the F1™ season.

The day after winning "The Voice," Bradbery was signed to a record deal with Big Machine Records, the label representing well-known artists Taylor Swift and Rascal Flatts. Her debut single, "The Heart of Dixie," was released on July 16, 2013.
