YYoga Opens Toronto's Largest Yoga Centre in the Heart of the City

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Nov. 6, 2013) - The doors are open at YYoga's newest studio in the heart of Toronto, located at 333 Queen Street West at John Street. YYoga is Canada's largest corporately owned yoga company that currently operates nine centers throughout British Columbia; running over 800 classes per week, including 135 in the newly minted Toronto centre.

The core of the YYoga formula starts in the studio with a variety of yoga lineages including Hatha, Power, Flow, Yin, Restorative, Core and a signature YHot class. The offering expands beyond yoga with an indoor cycling experience called YRide, and amenities like an infrared sauna, mat and towel service and complimentary organic shower products, making the transition from mat to work seamless. The newest studio features a bright and airy design offering ample space in the 10,000 square foot centre that spans two floors with three studio spaces.

"We are thrilled to expand the YYoga community to Toronto," said Terry McBride, CEO of YYoga. "We strive to create happier, healthier people that are connected to themselves and others. YYoga is about so much more than yoga; we like to think of our spaces as lifestyle centres that welcome everyone with a multi-dimensional approach to wellness, a commitment to quality and an abundance of options."

Following a $9-million dollar round of financing announced in 2012, YYoga has worked extensively towards the Toronto opening and plans to add additional locations across the city in coming years. YYoga is committed to upholding exceptional quality experiences for its guests and planting its roots in the Toronto community.
