Booster Juice Celebrates Customer Appreciation Day - November 13

EDMONTON, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - Nov. 7, 2013) - It is hard to imagine that only fourteen years ago Booster Juice was simply an idea waiting to emerge from Dale Wishewan's kitchen. Fast forward to today and Booster Juice has evolved from an idea, to a reality of over three hundred stores in six countries around the world. Dale has changed history by creating a beverage category that didn't even exist in Canada when he started out.

The tremendous success of Booster Juice would not have been possible without the loyal support of our customers. Therefore we want to celebrate Customer Appreciation Day with an offer of "Buy any Booster Juice Smoothie and receive a second Smoothie (of equal or greater value) for only 99¢" at all participating locations. "Without customers we couldn't have built the business to what it is today," says Wishewan. He added, "I also want to thank the customers for their acceptance of Booster Juice which in turn allowed me to build the business and be honored with the prestigious EY Prairies Entrepreneur of the Year Award for 2013. It truly has been a fantastic year."

As a way of giving back to the communities across the country, Booster Juice will be donating a percentage of all sales from Wednesday, November 13 to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. "We have worked with Booster Juice for a number of years now, however this is the biggest initiative that we have done together," said Pat McCormack, JDRF Chairman - North Central Alberta & NWT. Pat also added, "The timing of this awareness is excellent as November is National Diabetes Awareness Month and November 14th is World Diabetes Day. The money and awareness raised by Booster Juice will go a long way in our goal of ultimately finding a cure for diabetes."

About Booster Juice

The first Booster Juice was opened in Sherwood Park, Alberta in November 1999 by Dale Wishewan, Booster Juice President & CEO, a guy who thought it would be a good idea to sell smoothies in the middle of a Canadian winter. Turns out, taste trumps temperature, and today there are over 300 locations worldwide. Booster Juice serves its intensely loyal customers a delicious, convenient and healthy alternative to fast food. In addition to their signature smoothies, their menu offers fresh-squeezed juices, hot food, and snacks. A vibrant brand that attracts an active clientele, Booster Juice was honoured with a Technomic 2013 Consumers' Choice Award.
