Metanor Intersects 12.2 g/t Over 10.4 m at Bachelor

VAL-D'OR, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Nov. 7, 2013) - Metanor Resources Inc. ("Metanor") (TSX VENTURE:MTO) is pleased to release an update on the ongoing drilling program underway at its Bachelor project seeking to extend the known mineralized zones.

The drilling program completed since the publication of results in the August 22nd press release, targeted the « A, B, and E » zone.

The drilling completed from levels 11 and 12 toward the A and B zones identified new blocks of resources within 100 metres of our active workplaces.

Other drill holes from level 13 targeted the lower extension of the E zone where a drift on level 13 exposed a gold structure (see August 22nd press release). These recent drillings confirmed the continuity downward of this gold mineralization.

Additional drillings are planned to confirm the continuity upward.

The table below summarizes the significant intersections obtained in these structures in the last few weeks:

* : Core length

The true width is approximately 50 to 75% of the core length obtained in diamond drill holes. The cut-off grade used in the analysis is 51.5 g/T or 1.5 oz Au. The samples were assayed by fire-assay at the Metanor assay lab. The quality control program of the assay results (QA QC) adopted by Metanor includes a minimum of 10% of controlled assays being conducted as well as verification by an independent external assay lab.
