Logi D Receives Financial Support from Government of Canada

MONTRÉAL, QUÉBEC--(Marketwired - Nov. 7, 2013) - The Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Infrastructure, Communities and Intergovernmental Affairs and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, today announced that the firm Logi D Inc. has been granted financial assistance for the implementation of a commercialization strategy targeting the United States and French markets.

"As the support we are announcing today clearly illustrates, the Government of Canada is taking effective measures to stimulate growth and job creation and help the Canadian economy become more competitive," said Minister Lebel.

Founded in 2000, Logi D specializes in the development and integration of supply chain and logistical inventory management technologies for hospitals. These automated systems allow customers to closely track their medical supply inventories with little human intervention.

The assistance from Canada Economic Development will enable the enterprise to carry out business prospecting activities, including taking part in trade fairs and paying sales calls to American and French health facilities, and to design and develop such promotional tools as an exhibition booth.

Information:

This support, granted in the form of a $300,000 repayable financial contribution, has been awarded through Canada Economic Development's Quebec Economic Development Program.
