Strateco Resources Inc.: Minister Yves-Francois Blanchet Refuses to Deliver the Certificate of Authorisation for the Matoush Project


BOUCHERVILLE, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Nov. 11, 2013) - On Friday, Quebec's minister of sustainable development, the environment, wildlife and parks notified Strateco Resources Inc. (TSX:RSC)(FRANKFURT:RF9) ("Strateco") that his decision is to refuse to deliver the certificate of authorisation for the Matoush underground exploration phase.

Strateco's legal counsel is presently examining the impact and reach of this decision on the legal proceedings currently underway.

Strateco intends to continue to vigorously defend the interests of its shareholders, who have invested more than $123 million in the Matoush uranium project. Strateco will keep its shareholders informed on any legal action it plans to take.
