Boston's Fastest Growing Private Software Company Experiences Record Growth as It Delivers Integrated Solutions for Content, Community and Commerce

BURLINGTON, MA--(Marketwired - Nov 12, 2013) -   Acquia, where great digital experiences begin, today announced the company's continued expansion as organizations look to accelerate their time to market in delivering digital experiences with freedom and agility.

Acquia is experiencing record growth as organizations increasingly select digital innovation platforms that integrate content, community, and commerce. Acquia added more than 100 new employees in offices across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific during the past six months. The company now has more than 400 employees worldwide who are committed to helping organizations achieve success with their digital strategies. Magnifying the company's reach, the Acquia Partner Program now includes more than 750 organizations worldwide, offering an extensive network to help customers with their digital strategies, designs and development. Accelerating its global expansion, Acquia recently opened its new EMEA headquarters in the UK's thriving tech hub of Reading.

"Organizations know that delivering exceptional digital experiences can deliver transformative business results," said Tom Erickson, CEO of Acquia. Acquia solutions are powering unified content, community and commerce strategies for many of the world's biggest brands. Using Drupal, Autodesk has the flexibility to integrate with several existing systems as it advances the community features of its help sites and forums.

"Acquia and their partners are helping us speed our Drupal deployment, providing both expertise and a Drupal-tuned cloud infrastructure with which we're building our next-generation online experience to help our customers get the answers they need quickly and get back to work," said Tom Williams, director, Autodesk Knowledge Network.

"The passion and innovation of the Drupal open source community, combined with Acquia's world-class tools and support, puts us well on our way to making open source software the enterprise standard," said Dries Buytaert, CTO and co-founder, Acquia. On a global scale, Drupal adoption has been rapidly rising.
