Honey Badger Appoints New Director

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Nov. 13, 2013) - Honey Badger Exploration, Inc. (TSX VENTURE:TUF) ("Honey Badger" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Jean-Philippe Desrochers, Ph.D., P.Geo. to the Board of Honey Badger. We are very fortunate to have Dr. Desrochers join our board as he further strengthens our geological team at both the management and board level.

Honey Badger Update

The Company is currently reviewing potential acquisition targets with a focus on Quebec based properties due to the tax incentives offered for resource based exploration and the pro-active mining initiatives in that province. We are also in the process of considering financing options to fund both the potential acquisition target as well as the requisite on-going exploration activities.

Jean-Philippe Desrochers, Ph.D., P.Geo.

Dr. Desrochers holds a PhD in geology from University of Montreal and has over 20 years experience in the mineral exploration industry in Canada, Central America and South America. He has been involved with intermediate and junior mining companies having exploration projects ranging from grassroots to mine-scale, at surface and underground. Dr. Desrochers specializes in the field of structural geology applied to ore deposits in the search for Archean lode gold, volcanogenic massive sulfides, porphyry copper, skarn, and epithermal gold deposits.

Dr. Desrochers is highly skilled at defining the geometry and determining the time sequence of mineralization utilizing 4D modeling with solid expertise in applied geochemistry and geophysics used for ore-body vectoring. He is proficient, practical, and proactive at supervising and motivating geological crews to achieve goals and objectives with a primary focus on adding value to the company's projects.

Dr. Desrochers is currently Vice-President Exploration of Eagle Hill Exploration Corp.
