BOSTON, Nov. 14, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Primrose Schools, a nationally accredited private preschool franchise with more than 270 locations across the country, announced plans to open more than 10 new schools throughout the greater Boston market in the next five years. Company executives identified key communities throughout New England for expansion after uncovering a shortage of high-quality child care providers in these areas.
Construction on Primrose School of Burlington, Mass. is already underway and franchise agreements have already been awarded for additional schools in Bedford, N.H. and Arlington, Mass.
Primrose Schools will offer its exclusive Balanced Learning® curriculum, which addresses multiple aspects of growth and learning: social, emotional, cognitive, creative and physical skills. The program, designed for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old, includes a blend of child-initiated and teacher-guided activities with an emphasis on age-appropriate literacy, math and character development skills.

Primrose Schools is on track to award 30 schools in 2013, growing to approximately 312 schools nationwide by the end of 2014.
