Roosters Men's Grooming Center in West County Opens With Fanfare

The VOLT Loan Program Helped Store's Owners Invest in Local Community

GAMBRILLS, MD--(Marketwired - Nov 19, 2013) -  The recent grand opening celebration of Roosters Men's Grooming Center (MGC) in Waugh Chapel Towne Centre attracted dozens of representatives of the West County Chamber of Commerce and local officials of West County.

Kim and Frankie Hall, the store's owners, also acknowledged receipt of a loan from Maryland's VOLT loan program that helped the couple launch their first venture as entrepreneurs.

The VOLT fund is managed by the Anne Arundel Economic Development Corporation and is designed to help Maryland's small, minority and women-owned businesses.

"We are proud that the VOLT Fund loan program was able to help Frankie and Kim Hall establish Roosters Men's Grooming Center in West County, which is a community that is growing by leaps and bounds," said Anne Arundel County Executive Laura Neuman. "We appreciate their investment in our County and wish them success in their new venture."

The store's grand opening celebration included refreshments, prize drawings and demonstrations of Roosters MGC's hair care services. Among the services this unique barbershop provides to men and boys are precision haircuts and shaves with hot steam towels along with deep cleansing facial massages and moisturizing lotions. The seven-step facial shave is especially popular among customers.

The Halls' professional team of barbers and stylists is led by Store Manager and Master Barber Marcus Hobdy.

Located in Suite 106 at 2389 Brandermill Blvd. in Gambrills' Waugh Chapel Towne Centre, Roosters MGC is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
