Generation shift at executive board of RATIONAL AG
Landsberg, 20 November 2013. After 17 successful years, initially as
spokesman for the Executive Board, and from 1999 as CEO, Dr. Günter
Blaschke is leaving the company as CEO by mutual agreement effective
31 December 2013. He will, however, continue to support the Executive Board
in an advisory capacity.
'With entrepreneurial vision and commitment, Dr. Blaschke turned RATIONAL
AG into one of the most successful companies listed on the German Stock
Exchange. For this he deserves my unreserved recognition, my special esteem
and my sincere thanks', said Siegfried Meister, Chairman of the Supervisory
Board of RATIONAL AG.
The current Chief Human Resources Officer of RATIONAL AG, Dr. Peter
Stadelmann, has been appointed his successor effective 1 January 2014.
'I am delighted that, in the shape of Dr. Stadelmann, an experienced and
highly qualified leadership personality has been appointed my successor,
who I will be glad to advise where I can', said Dr. Blaschke.
