BOULDER, CO--(Marketwired - Dec 4, 2013) - Boulder locals Scott and Sarah Armstrong announced today that their community website, AboutBoulder.com, has partnered with Boulder B-cycle for cross promotion and will be supporting several charitable causes for Boulder and Boulder County.

Partnership with Boulder B-cycle

AboutBoulder.com is proud to announce its partnership with local non-profit Boulder B-cycle. B-cycle is an innovative bicycle-sharing program for residents and visitors of Boulder. AboutBoulder.com supports B-cycle's environmentally friendly and community oriented efforts and has agreed to offer online promotion for the non-profit in return for advertising space on several B-cycle bicycles around Boulder.

Free Advertising for Lyons Businesses

In recognition of the devastation caused by the Boulder County floods, AboutBoulder.com has pledged to support all businesses in the city of Lyons with free advertising. The founders of AboutBoulder.com realize that many small businesses in Lyons could take years to recover from flood damages and have stepped forward to support their recovery with complimentary online promotion.

Boulder Giving Initiative

Through the Boulder Giving initiative, AboutBoulder.com has pledged to donate 10% of all money spent on advertising to a charity organization of the advertiser's choice. The Armstrongs created the Boulder Giving initiative for AboutBoulder.com to serve as a platform for giving back to the Boulder community.

"As Boulder residents for the past 25 years, we are always looking for ways to support our local community," said Scott Armstrong, president and founder of AboutBoulder.com. "We are delighted to see AboutBoulder.com being embraced by the online community and the Boulder Giving initiative allows advertiser's to join in our vision of giving."
