Cupcake Truck Rolls Through NYC to Sample Wines While Donating $10,000 to City Harvest

LIVERMORE, CA--(Marketwired - Dec 5, 2013) - Dec. 15 marks National Cupcake Day, a celebration dedicated to America's favorite sweet treat. In honor of the occasion, Cupcake Vineyards is returning to New York City to celebrate in style on Dec. 13 and 14. From hosting wine tastings throughout the city and handing out goodies from its "Cupcake Truck," to making a donation to local anti-hunger organization City Harvest, Cupcake Vineyards is taking over the Big Apple. Whether you enjoy the rich, chocolate flavor of red velvet or prefer the classic taste of vanilla, there is sure to be a "Cupcake" for you during this celebration.

Leading up to National Cupcake Day, Cupcake Vineyards will park its Cupcake Truck throughout the city and at select New York City retailers to provide loyal Cupcake fans with the ultimate experience. Stop by the truck for a delicious afternoon including delectable cupcakes that will be paired with tastings of favorite Cupcake Vineyards wines at select locations. As a special part of this year's festivities, Cupcake Vineyards will donate $10,000 to City Harvest, the world's first food rescue organization dedicated to feeding New York City's hungry men, women and children.
