Ivanhoe Grammar School selected Echo360 because of the solution's seamless approach to student engagement, lecture recording and robust analytics to evaluate student success.

Echo360's suite of learner analytics provides insight into viewing habits and participation by class and by student, helping teachers evaluate student progress. Teachers first create lessons and tutorials for students to watch before attending class and assign them as homework before class, popularly known as flipping the classroom. During class, teachers can engage students with digital polls and quizzes to boost overall classroom participation while class is recorded. The lessons are available in a consumable format for students to review and revisit on their preferred computer or mobile device. These activities are tracked and displayed through an analytics dashboard accessible only to the teacher.

Ivanhoe Grammar School can improve communications by eliminating the time commitment for parents wanting to find out more. Parents can log in and preview student lessons to better understand what is going on in the classroom.
The growth in the ELC-12 market is another sign of ongoing expansion for Echo360 in Australia and New Zealand. Currently, its solution is in use at scale in more than 70 percent of higher education institutions for lecture recording and active learning.
