NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Dec 9, 2013) - On November 12, 2013, Institutional Investor and SumZero, the world's largest online membership community of buy-side investment professionals, hosted InvestPitch 2013, a stock-pitch competition in which 19 emerging managers delivered their best ideas in a three-minute pitch to an audience of professional investors.
The event took place at Columbia University, where the audience evaluated each presenter's idea based on validity of the thesis, strength of the argument, feasibility of the trade and originality. Through these evaluations, three finalists were identified: Litmus Capital Management's Daniel Carroll, Amelon Capital Management's Greg Fujii and Elmrox Investment Group's Daniel Lawrence.
