MEDIA ADVISORY: World Health, SPALADY and Bankers Hall Club Drop Off Toys to The Women's Centre of Calgary Toy Room

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - Dec. 11, 2013) - On Friday, December 13, staff from World Health, SPALADY and Bankers Hall Club will drop off the toys collected from their Train the Trainer toy drive to the Women's Centre of Calgary toy room.

"Our members and staff love this event," said Scott Wildeman, Sr. VP of Operations, World Health, SPALADY and Bankers Hall Club. "We get to sweat for a great cause and we make a really positive impact in our community."

The Train the Trainer toy drive gives members the chance to turn the tables on their personal trainer and put the trainer through a workout when they donate a new, unwrapped toy.

Every December the Women's Centre operates a toy room for women and children in need. Open until December 20, 2013 the Women's Centre is calling for new, unwrapped gifts with a priority for children 8-12 year olds.

In the past, World Health, SPALADY and Bankers Hall Club has been the largest donator of toys to the Women's Centre, giving over 1,000 each year. Fitness Managers from the club locations along with Wildeman will be in attendance to drop off the toys and available for interviews.
