Amble With Angus Friday Morning

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - Dec. 11, 2013) - Calgary runners are taking to the bike paths for an early morning run in support of the Calgary Food Bank Children's Milk Program.

The Amble with Angus raises important funds for the Children's Milk Program that provides milk and baby formula to low income households and local agencies who work with women and children.

Last year the program made 6,927 deliveries to 1,731 families. This included 2,947 cans of formula, 28,516 litres of homogenized milk and 33,684 litres of 2% milk, for a total of 62,200 litres delivered to some of Calgary's most vulnerable.
