EHouse Global Unveils Two New Products to Combat Childhood Anemia Potentially Caused by Vitamin D Deficiency

LA JOLLA, Calif., Dec. 16, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- EHouse Global, Inc. (OTCBB:EHOS), (the "Company") (www.EHouse-Global.com) would like to announce a new article was posted to www.ScienceDaily.com on October 21, 2013, which unveils a recent study published by The Journal of Pediatrics (http://www.jpeds.com) that extensively explores the link between low levels of vitamin D and anemia in children.

Researchers studied blood samples from more than 10,400 children to track their levels of vitamin D and hemoglobin. Researchers found that Vitamin D levels were consistently lower in children with low hemoglobin levels compared with their non-anemic counterparts.

The sharpest spike in anemia risk occurred with mild vitamin D deficiency, defined as vitamin D levels below 30 nanograms per milliliter (ng/ml). Children with levels below 30 ng/ml had nearly twice the anemia risk of those with normal vitamin D levels. Severe vitamin D deficiency is defined as vitamin D levels at or below 20 ng/ml. Both mild and severe deficiency requires treatment with nutritional supplements.

The investigators say several mechanisms could account for the link between vitamin D and anemia, including vitamin D's effect on red blood cell production in the bone marrow, as well as its ability to regulate immune inflammation, a known catalyst of anemia.

Ehouse Global's nutritional supplement company, NutraLiquids LLC (www.NutraLiquids.com), has created a complete line of great tasting liquid supplements. The Company's KidsDaily™ product contains 400 IU of vitamin D per serving (100% of the recommended daily intake), is kid-friendly-flavored in Orange-Mango-Pineapple-Banana, and comes in a fun daily pouch. The company also carries a standalone Liquid vitamin D3 supplement for adults, which contains 5,000 IU of vitamin D.

Scott Corlett, CEO of Ehouse Global, Commented:

"With the large number of children affected by diseases that could be prevented with nutrition, we decided to create a liquid multi-vitamin for kids. With four children of my own, I understand the value of supplementation and the importance of a product that not only keeps my children healthy, but tastes great too.

"What really differentiates us within this particular opportunity is our individual packaged daily portions which make if fun for the children and convenient for their parents."
