Metanor Produces 4,514 Ounces Au in December at Bachelor


VAL-D'OR, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Jan. 9, 2014) - Ressources Métanor Inc. ("Metanor") (TSX VENTURE:MTO) is pleased to provide this update on the production activities underway at its Bachelor Mine.

Metanor produced 4,514 ounces of gold during the month of December which brings the total production for the quarter ending December 31st 2013, at 12,751 ounces of gold. The ounces produced in December came from the development activities on levels 14, 13, 12, 11, 10, and 8, as well as from stopes on levels 13, 12, 11 and 10, for a total of 21,106 tonnes of ore at a feed grade of 6.82 grams / tonne with a 97.5% recovery. During the month of December, Metanor also poured 1,193 ounces of gold which corresponds to a week of production.

Metanor is presently continuing its development activities on the levels mentioned above. Also in December, Metanor began the development toward the ore zones on level 10 identified as the Hewfran sector in the 2011 NI 43-101 Technical Report.
