       Market Update - Recommended Takeover Offer for Ampella Mining

Further to the announcement of 10 December 2013, Centamin notes that
shareholder documentation has been lodged with ASIC and ASX in respect
of the recommended takeover offer of Ampella and will be despatched to
AMX shareholders on 13 January 2014. The Bidder's Statement and Target
