Plandai Biotechnology Partners With Well Known Brand in Cannabis Products

(OTCQB: PLPL) may have just moved to the front of the line in the medical marijuana arena with this week's announcement that can only be described as a blockbuster partnership for the company's future. While other companies in the marijuana space wait on the industry to sort itself out, Plandaí is looking to familiarize the market with its products.

The good news for investors is that the company has chosen to partner with the well-known brand Diego Pellicer, Inc. and Diego Pellicer Worldwide Inc. to use the Diego Pellicer name for its cannabis extracts in medical and pharmaceutical marijuana applications. This deal will give Plandaí's cannabis extracts name recognition, and in these early stages in the arena of public medical marijuana companies that's big time.

Jamen Shively is the co-founder of Diego Pellicer, Inc. as well as the great grandson of the company's namesake. Shively is a brand unto himself. The former Microsoft manager has been outspoken on his plans to build the first retail brand in the United States focused exclusively on legal premium marijuana. He's done just that and has discussed his ideas and plans for the marijuana industry on CNN, ABC News, FOX Business, CNBC, just to name a few.
