SAN MATEO, CA and LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwired - Jan 23, 2014) - Agari, the leading provider of a data-driven security solution that prevents malicious attacks through email, today announced expansion into Europe, naming security industry veteran Darren White as EMEA sales director following client wins, including the largest financial institution in the U.K.

Based in London, White brings more than 20 years of experience as a proven sales leader in the security industry and will oversee all of the EMEA territories for Agari. Prior to Agari, White was the sales director at Silver Tail Systems, which is now part of RSA, the security division of EMC. Before Silver Tail, White held strategic sales positions for Cisco, McAfee, and F5 Networks.

"I'm thrilled to be a part of Agari's talented team and excited to build on the great success already achieved in the U.S. and U.K. markets, even without dedicated support for EMEA," said White. "Growth is accelerating and I'm excited to be championing a solution that transforms email security. One Agari client redeployed 60 IT resources onto other projects after working with us -- with statistics like that, my job becomes really exciting."

Agari is seeing fast growth in the EMEA markets, particularly among the key industry verticals of financial services and e-commerce.

"The fallout from repeat data breaches has heightened demand, since email is the easiest way for cybercriminals to reach consumers," said Patrick Peterson, chief executive officer of Agari. "With Darren leading Agari's expansion into the EMEA markets, we're prepared to meet these demands. Darren has a proven track record of accelerating growth and building successful teams, and has the experience to further Agari's ecosystem of customers and partners."
