HUDSONMOD JOINS THE 7TH ANNUAL HOLLYWOOD DOMINO EVENT

Popular Pre-Oscar Event Seeks To Raise Awareness For Artists For Peace And Justice

MONTCLAIR, N.J., Jan. 23, 2014 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Hollywood Domino has announced that its 7th annual star-studded, pre-Oscar event will take place on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at the Sunset Tower Hotel in Beverly Hills. HudsonMOD, a premier luxury lifestyle magazine, has been selected as an exclusive media sponsor for the year's most acclaimed, popular and well-attended pre-Oscar event.

Benefitting the admirable charity, Artists for Peace and Justice, the event continues to bring attention to this rewarding cause. Lead by award-winning filmmaker Paul Haggis (Crash, Million Dollar Baby), Artists for Peace and Justice supports communities and children in Haiti through educational and healthcare programs.

"By working with Artists for Peace and Justice, I've seen the remarkable impact this organization has on the children living in Haiti's slums. With its mission to provide free education to these young girls and boys, Artists for Peace and Justice has given me an opportunity to make a difference as a neighbor. I'm so proud and excited that our Hollywood Domino event will benefit such a noble cause," says Daya Fernandez, Founder of Hollywood Domino.

Hollywood Domino and the event of the same name were the brainchild of Fernandez's imagination over the 2008 Oscar season. Modifying the classic domino game to include a movie-inspired theme, Fernandez shared the concept with many of her celebrity friends. With buzz building around the game and an ever-growing list of famous participants, she organized the first Hollywood Domino event to serve as the perfect precursor to the Academy Awards. While past guests have included Demi Moore, Charlize Theron, Gerard Butler, Ashton Kutcher, Ben Stiller and so many more, each year Hollywood Domino continues to grow and attract new stars.

"From its conception, HudsonMOD has always strived to combine the realm of the luxury lifestyle and all that it embodies with charitable causes. Having been invited to sponsor Hollywood Domino has been an absolute honor and we look forward to raising even more awareness and funds for Artists for Peace and Justice throughout this celebratory evening," says Shannon Steitz, President/Publisher of HudsonMOD.

Hollywood Domino and HudsonMOD have arranged a number of meaningful outlets that allow companies and individuals to take part in the evening.
