Tintri Appoints Ian Halifax as CFO

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA--(Marketwired - Jan 29, 2014) - Tintri, Inc., the leading producer of storage for virtualization and cloud environments, today announced the appointment of Ian Halifax as Chief Financial Officer. Ian brings more than 25 years of finance and operational experience at high-growth technology companies, consistently helping them achieve scale, market leadership and profitability.

Ian brings vast experience in publicly-traded and fast-growing technology companies to Tintri. Most recently, Ian was CFO at Host Analytics, a leading cloud-based enterprise performance management company. Ian also served as CFO at Wind River Systems, a publicly-traded company providing embedded operating systems software, where he drove significant increases in revenue and profitability prior to its acquisition by Intel. Ian also served as a public-company CFO at Micromuse and Macrovision. In the early part of his career, he held finance positions at Sun Microsystems and KPMG. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of York and a master's of business administration from Henley Management College in the United Kingdom. He is a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Management Accountant.
