NASDAQ OMX Iceland hf. (the Exchange) has approved a request for the removal of trading of shares issued by Atlantic Petroleum P/F (FO-ATLA).
The shares of Atlantic Petroleum P/F will be removed from trading on NASDAQ OMX Iceland as of closing of trading on 7 February 2014.
The Exchange would like to draw attention to the fact that the Central Bank of Iceland has authorized current domestic shareholders in Atlantic Petroleum to sell their shares in the company in Denmark and Norway for foreign currency, cf. the company’s announcement earlier today. The Central Bank has also noted that Icelandic residents are required to repatriate the foreign currency deriving from such a sale to a financial institution in Iceland.
