          Update of Progress at the Rio Tinto Copper Project

EMED Mining, the Europe-based minerals development and exploration
company reports that the Company and the Junta de Andalucia continue to
work co-operatively on the licensing process for the re-start of the
Rio Tinto Copper project as previously reported on 17 January 2014.
This process is still on track contrary to a recent report in one local
Andalusian publication which yesterday incorrectly stated there is a
three month delay.
