The following replaces the announcement made on 3 February 2014 at 17:38.

Octopus AIM VCT 2 plc announces that on 03 February 2014 the Company purchased for cancellation 235,785 Ordinary shares at a price of 84.0p per share.
 
Following this transaction, the issued share capital of the Company now consists of 48,227,462 Ordinary shares with a nominal value of 0.01p each, with voting rights. The Company holds no shares in Treasury.
