Saint-Charles Community Centre Granted Financial Support from Government of Canada for Building Renovations

DRUMMONDVILLE, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Feb. 13, 2014) - Canada Economic Development

The Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Infrastructure, Communities and Intergovernmental Affairs and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, announces that the Saint-Charles Community Centre has received financial assistance for the modernization of its facilities.

This support has been awarded in the form of a $40,500 non-repayable contribution through Canada Economic Development's Community Infrastructure Improvement Fund.

Quick facts

  • The project involves making improvements to the Centre's buildings, including upgrading certain spaces. The acquisition of a movable stage and air conditioning equipment completes the planned renovations. These improvements will provide Centre users with quality facilities.
