PROVO, UT--(Marketwired - Feb 13, 2014) - David Porter, author, social architect and one of North America's premiere foodservice consultants to colleges and universities, and CEO of Porter Khouw Consulting, Inc., will contribute to the National Association of College & University Food Services' Continental Region conference Feb. 23-26.
The event's theme is "Disruptive Innovation," which deals with uncertainty in today's world, and enterprising food and nutrition ideas. It's sponsored by Utah Valley University and Brigham Young University in Utah Valley.
For more than 50 years, the NACUFS has supported the collegiate dining industry by providing members with the programs and resources they need to excel.
Porter, whose firm designs dining programs and dining-learning commons for educational institutions, says the event's theme is gaining momentum within the academic community.
