Volvo

In January 8,433 Volvo trucks were delivered, an increase of 51% compared with
the same month last year. However, deliveries were 29% lower than in the month
of December 2013.

In Europe 3,374 vehicles were delivered during January, up by 54% compared with
January 2013.

First quarter production rates in Europe have been adjusted to reflect lower
demand, which is a consequence of customers having pre-bought trucks ahead of a
more stringent emission regulation that came into force 1 January 2014.

January deliveries in North America increased 209% to 2,433 vehicles in
comparison with the same period last year. The increase was mainly due to two
down-weeks in January 2013.

January deliveries in South America increased 5% to 1,509 trucks compared with
January 2013.

four different truck series; the T-series for long haulage, the C-series for

downwards to reflect lower demand following the transition to the new emission
regulation, Euro 6, and the on-going product renewal.
