Nato Flores, President of Tower General Contractors, Inducted Into Cal Poly Pomona College of Engineering 2014 Hall of Fame


LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwired - Feb 21, 2014) - Tower General Contractors, the largest minority contractor in Los Angeles, announced today that its founder and president, Nato Flores, has been inducted into the Cal Poly Pomona College of Engineering 2014 Hall of Fame. Flores was selected from more than 20,000 alumni to join the Engineering Hall of Fame, which recognizes distinguished engineers and their achievements.

A 1979 mechanical engineering graduate from Cal Poly Pomona, Flores founded Tower General Contractors in 1985. Since then, the company has grown from a two-man operation into a company with more than 40 employees and more than $100 million in projects currently under contract. Flores currently serves on several boards, including the Board of Directors for the Associated General Contractors of California and Cal Poly Pomona School of Engineering Dean's Leadership Board.
