Pediapharm Inc. Completes C$2,000,000 Bought Deal Private Placement of Common Shares

Pediapharm Inc. (the "Corporation") (TSX VENTURE:PDP) is pleased to announce that it has completed the previously-announced "bought deal" private placement of 5,555,556 common shares of the Corporation (the "Common Shares") at a price of $0.36 per Common Shares for gross proceeds of $2,000,000.16.

The private placement was lead by Laurentian Bank Securities Inc. The Common Shares are subject to a hold period expiring on June 22, 2014.

The net proceeds of the private placement will be used to expand product portfolio and for general working capital purposes.

As a result of the private placement, there are 71,998,856 common shares of the Corporation issued and outstanding.
