Jacob Blom appointed SVP Human Resources at NCC

Jacob Blom will be the new Senior Vice President Human Resources at NCC.  Since
November 2013, Jacob Blom has been serving as acting SVP HR.
“I’m delighted that Jacob Blom will be the Group’s new Senior Vice President of
Human Resources. He has excellent experience in the area – both from previous
roles in other companies and from NCC. I look forward to having Jacob take care
of an area that is of such key importance to the future,” says Peter Wågström,
President and CEO of NCC.

The NCC Group regards Human Resources, HR, as a strategic area. It includes
focusing on the need to attract the right competencies for the future, working
on ways of increasing the efficiency of systems and processes and developing
NCC’s management skills.

Resources in the NCC Group and I really look forward to taking on the exciting
HR challenges that lie ahead for NCC. We will refine NCC’s HR processes and
systems, and build further on the organization that exists, with competencies
that will help us achieve our targets,” says Jacob Blom, Acting SVP of Human
Resources.

Another important area is safety at NCC’s various worksites.

“NCC has a vision of zero accidents and has made a great deal of progress when
it comes to occupational health and safety at our worksites but the number of
accidents must continue to be reduced. We will therefore continue to work on the
basis of our zero vision and do everything in our power to create safe worksites
at all locations and every day,” Jacob Blom adds.

Jacob Blom will assume his new position on March 12 and will be a member of
NCC’s Group Management.

Jacob Blom has longstanding experience in the field of the Human Resources. He
has led several major HR projects in multiple executive roles, at corporate
level in the NCC Group, at NCC in Denmark and in other major companies. His
track record includes holding executive HR positions at the Danish telecom
operator TDC and at Merck Sharp & Dohme in both Denmark and Sweden.

Jacob Blom is educated as a regular officer and has a degree from the Copenhagen
School of Economics in organization and management.
