Evolving Systems Announces Availability of New Dynamic SIM Allocation(TM) Solution for LTE Networks

Evolving Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: EVOL), a leader in activation, enablement and management of services for connected mobile devices worldwide, announced the availability of its new LTE service for Dynamic SIM Allocation™ (DSA) for carriers worldwide. The Company also announced that one of Mexico's largest mobile carriers, an existing DSA customer, will extend DSA to deploy the new LTE service.

Evolving Systems' LTE solution includes a new network component, which facilitates the integration of the DSA solution with LTE networks. Since DSA is in both the 3G and LTE networks, subscribers are automatically provisioned for service when connecting for the first time to the LTE network. The new DSA solution ensures the best LTE on-device activation experience for subscribers -- whether through an upgrade to an LTE-capable device and SIM, or when an operator extends their LTE network to new coverage areas where subscribers with LTE capable phones were previously on the 3G network. This is an important and distinguishing capability for operators as they can eliminate the expense of pre-provisioning all of their subscribers in the LTE network in advance.

In addition, the first use activation experience is further enhanced by the fast LTE data connection. This new DSA solution for LTE enables carriers to quickly launch innovative data services. By deploying this solution, the Tier 1 Mexico operator is further enhancing the experience of its LTE subscribers with Evolving Systems' leading SIM activation solution. With the new LTE offering, the operator will be able to extend all the benefits of DSA to their LTE customers, including removing unnecessary costs of pre-provisioning of SIM cards, dramatically reducing the number of SIM SKUs, and enabling better mobility of SIM stock in the distribution channel.
