(NYSE: SF) today announced that Scott Devitt will be rejoining Stifel as a Managing Director, with a focus on the Internet sector. The addition of Scott further solidifies Stifel's position as the leading provider of Information Technology research, as measured by StarMine.

Mr. Devitt will bring more than 15 years of covering the Internet sector, including the last five years as Managing Director at Morgan Stanley. Prior to Morgan Stanley, Mr. Devitt was a Managing Director at Legg Mason and then Stifel.

Mr. Devitt is widely recognized in the investment community, including Institutional Investor Awards 3-time winner, as well as recognized by FT/StarMine as a 5-time winner along with an overall #1 ranking by Greenwich Associates.

He is a graduate of University of North Florida and has an MBA from University of Georgia. Mr. Devitt will be based in the firm's New York office and will join Stifel in June 2014.
