PrecisionDemand Wins Two Ogilvy Awards

The Advertising Research Foundation Recognizes TV Technology Company for Outstanding Application of Research in Advertising

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Mar 20, 2014) - PrecisionDemand, the leader in data-driven TV ad targeting, has been recognized by the Advertising Research Foundation with two ARF David Ogilvy Awards for the extraordinary and/or creative use of research in advertising. The awards are recognition of PrecisionDemand's industry-leading technology, which makes TV advertising accurate and accountable for marketers.

The ARF David Ogilvy Awards, named for advertising legend David Ogilvy, honor the critical role of consumer research in creating successful marketing campaigns and will be given out at Re:Think 2014, the nation's leading advertising research conference. These are the second and third Ogilvy awards for PrecisionDemand; the company previously won in 2012.

PrecisionDemand's awards are a result of work for Physicians Mutual Insurance Company, which provides health, life and retirement coverage; and Art.com, the world's largest online retailer of high-quality wall art. Through its patented technologies, PrecisionDemand was able to drive 14 times more qualified leads for Physicians Mutual over the past two years, while doing so at 35 percent lower cost per lead. PrecisionDemand also helped Art.com use TV to reach high probability buyers, and then measure and optimize the web response that came as a result of the TV ads.

In both campaigns, PrecisionDemand used its proprietary, patented technologies, including set top box buyer targeting and web spike measurement, to achieve the remarkable results. The winning case studies for both Art.com and Physicians Mutual are public and available for download.

"The Ogilvy awards are often considered the Oscars of advertising, and we're honored to be recognized in this capacity," said Brendan Kitts, Chief Scientist for PrecisionDemand. "PrecisionDemand has spent years building and refining its technology to be able to operate on the wide range of television systems available today. These awards provide continued validation of the impact of these technologies in generating ROI for real advertising campaigns."
