JAMF Software CEO to Deliver Keynote on Embracing Apple in the Enterprise at MacIT 2014

Leading Apple Device Management Solution Provider Showcases Its Presence as a Platinum Sponsor; Presents Two Speaking Sessions

MINNEAPOLIS, MN--(Marketwired - Mar 24, 2014) - JAMF Software, the leader in Apple device management, today announced its participation at MacIT, the world's leading conference for deploying Apple in the enterprise. MacIT will be held on March 26-29, 2014 in San Francisco, California.

MacIT has been delivering valuable perspectives to Apple deployment professionals for over 10 years. The conference will provide attendees with the opportunity to learn how Fortune 1000, Global 50, and higher education and governmental organizations are putting Apple iOS and OS X tools to work.

JAMF Software's co-CEO, Chip Pearson, will give the keynote speech at MacIT. In his talk, Pearson will discuss why there has never been a better time than now to embrace Apple in the enterprise. 20 years ago, enterprise employees who were provided with PCs in the workplace longed for that same experience at home. Today, the roles have been reversed -- Macs are prevalent in business professionals' homes, and the presence of Apple in the enterprise is growing, due to high demand from IT and Apple's recent release of enterprise service offerings including the Device Enrollment Program, Volume Purchase Program, and security updates. Pearson will examine the evolution of Macs and explore proof points that showcase just how serious Apple is about the enterprise.

JAMF Software will also join forces with Aerohive Networks, a leader in controller-less Wi-Fi and cloud-managed mobile networking for the enterprise market, during a second speaking session at the show. Titled, "Managing Apple in the Enterprise: Why MDM and WLAN Management Go Hand-in-Hand," JAMF Software's manager of product management, Jake Mosey, and Aerohive Network's director of product management, Matthew Gast, will discuss why mobile device management and wireless local area network solutions should be implemented in tandem. Mosey and Gast will explain the benefits of this two-pronged approach, draw from real-world use cases and demonstrate best practices for managing Apple in the enterprise.

In addition, JAMF will showcase at MacIT as a platinum sponsor. To learn more about JAMF Software and its flagship solution the Casper Suite, attendees can visit its booth at MacIT.
