Swedish savers offered record-cheap trading with American stocks

The interest among Avanza’s customers for American stocks has increased by more
than 50 percent in the last year.  Avanza’s customers now have over SEK 2.1 bln
invested in American stocks. The most popular shares are Apple, Google and Coca
-Cola.

With today’s price reduction Avanza continues to put pressure on transaction
fees and offers the lowest fees in Sweden on trading American stocks, which can
be traded through Avanza’s online platform.
“Our ambition is to continue putting pressure on transaction fees for the
benefit of Swedish savers. The interest for American stocks is increasing and
with higher volumes, we can continue to lower transaction fees. For the growing
number of savers  interested in trading in American stocks there is a lot of
money to be saved by doing it through us rather than the larger banks”, says
Martin Tivéus, Managing Director of Avanza.
