Faurecia appoints Niklas Braun as Executive Vice President Automotive Exteriors
Faurecia announces the appointment of Niklas Braun as member of the Group's Executive Committee, effective April 1, 2014 and as Executive Vice President in charge of the Automotive Exteriors business group, effective June 2, 2014. Niklas will follow an induction program during the month of April and ensure the transition period with Hervé Guyot in May.
Niklas was previously a member of the Group Executive Board of REHAU, a privately-owned company, and CEO of the REHAU Automotive Business Division, a Tier 1 supplier to all major international automakers.
A graduate engineer of Technical University Berlin (Germany), Niklas started his career in 1999 with A.T. Kearney in Germany before joining the REHAU Group in 2002. He has held a wide range of management positions in Operations, R&D, Engineering, Technology and Innovation at REHAU. For two years, he was a member of the REHAU North America Executive Board. Early 2009, he was appointed to the Automotive Executive Board, before taking over the position of CEO of REHAU Automotive in April 2011. Additionally he was appointed to the Group Executive Board of REHAU in 2012.
From June 2, 2014, Hervé Guyot, who has occupied the position of Executive Vice President Automotive Exteriors since September 2, 2013, will continue leading Group Strategy within the Executive Committee.
